Privacy and data policy

Fill Technology AB cares about your privacy, which means that we always collect and handle personal data responsibly and with your privacy in mind. This Data Policy explains how we collect and use your personal data when you use our services and become a customer of ours.

This Data Policy also describes your rights in relation to your personal data and how you can enforce your rights. "We", "our", or "us" refers to Fill Technology AB, registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office and having its registered office at Dalagatan 9P, 113 61 Stockholm. In accordance with EU data protection legislation, we are responsible for the personal data you provide to us or that we collect about you, and we are responsible for ensuring that we use your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Information you provide to us

We collect information that you provide when you use our services, including when you register an account, make a quote request or communicate with our support. This is limited to the information we need to fulfill our obligations when you use Fill, which includes, but is not limited to:

  • Personal and contact information:
    Name, phone number, email, etc.

What information do we collect?

When you use any of Fill's services, we will collect information about you, either on our own or through third parties. By services, we mean use of our quote service, purchase, contact with us or use of "your pages". Depending on the service you use, this information may be:

  • Personal and contact information:
    Name, Company name, Company number, Delivery address, E-mail address, Mobile phone number.
  • Information on goods/services:
    Details of the services you have requested, such as the number of employees in your company.
  • Device information:
    For example, IP address, language settings, browser settings, time zone, operating system, platform and screen resolution.
  • Information from partners:
    We may collect additional information about you from third parties such as marketplaces and data providers and add it to our information about you. This includes, for example, address information, information about purchases you have made, demographic information and credit reference information and other information from credit reference agencies to the extent permitted by law. We require that each of these partners have the legal right to collect, use and share your data before they provide us with any data.

To whom is this information shared?

Your information may be shared with external partners. We have these partnerships to help us provide and improve our services. We only disclose the information to our affiliated partners after they have agreed to respond to your submitted request through the Fill service. The data is only available in a logged-in mode and is never sent manually by email. The types of external partners we may share information about you with are as follows:

  • Resellers of services:
    We may share your personal data with resellers for the performance of our contractual obligations to you.
  • Authorities:
    We may provide necessary information to authorities such as the police, tax authorities or other authorities if we are required to do so by law or if you have consented to us doing so.
  • Analytics service providers: (with your consent).
    We provide information and content to providers that enable us to analyse how our services are used or conduct surveys.
  • Advertisers: (with your consent).
    We have the right to provide any advertisers with information about you in order to target advertisements to you that match your information and behaviour.

How can you exercise your rights under the GDPR?

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right, under certain conditions, to access, edit, export and delete your data. You also have the right to object to and restrict certain processing of your data. This includes:

  • The right to object to our processing of your data for direct marketing purposes, which you can adjust by either using the "unsubscribe" link in our marketing communications or by contacting us at hello@askfill.com
  • The right to object to our processing of your data for the purpose of analysing how our services are used, which you can adjust by contacting us at hello@askfill.com

Removal of account

Generally, we keep your customer data for the time you use our services and for up to 24 months thereafter. When we save your data for purposes other than our brokerage obligations, such as to meet accounting requirements or to comply with the law, we will only save data for as long as necessary and/or required by law for the respective purpose. Once you delete your account, you will not be able to recover that information later. If you wish to delete your account, you can contact hello@askfill.com at any time.

Where do we process your information?

We always aim to process your data within the EU/EEA. However, in certain situations (e.g. Google Analytics), data may be transferred to, and processed in, a country outside the EU/EEA by a supplier or subcontractor. Fill is committed to protecting your data at all times and will take steps to ensure that your data is handled securely and with an adequate level of protection comparable to and on a par with the protection offered within the EU/EEA
